Just to briefly introduce myself, my name is Jane Jarvis and I hold the following qualifications,  BHSI, Accredited Professional Performance Coach, BE Level 3 Coach and Cert. Ed.

I am the Chief Instructor for EHNPC and have held that position for over 15   years. I have been coaching at the Pony Club for over 20 years preparing members for all tests from D right up to A!

I am a Pony Club Assessor and assess at all levels up to the prestigious A test. I have also guided my daughter , Franki, through her A test, which she gained with distinction at the age of 22.  

I am heavily involved and responsible for training our event teams who have been on the podium at the PC Championships at all levels and winning the 100 class last year.

I have also been responsible for hosting CPD sessions for various area Pony Club Coaches and assessors with a view to helping them to prepare members for their tests.

During Covid I was introduced to Zoom and saw potential to deliver training through this medium.  I now run Zoom courses for EHNPC, covering the C+ and B test requirements. As well as that  I also run online courses for Area 8 to cover both the B test and AH level. 

I also run online 6 week courses for BHS Stage 4 Senior Care. These are very popular and carry 6 CPD points for attendees. I have had students from all over the country and even one in Russia!  I am currently looking into running Level 5 courses online too, after being asked by my successful Stage 4 students. The feedback is that they often struggle to find training at the higher levels in their area so they find this an invaluable part of their training journey.

I have also been responsible for the training of staff and students in preparation for their BHS Exams up to Stage 4 and Coaching exams at some of the local riding schools.  As well as that I have a good base of private clients with a mixture of competition and leisure riders.I have also worked as a full time lecturer in Equine Studies where I worked with students from YT/NVQ through to National Diploma. Being a NVQ assessor at that time and gaining my Cert Ed.

I still ride, having previously competed BE, BD, and BS.

Another advantage of having these online is that you will be able to access them wherever they have access to the internet.
